9.3% Increase for Nevada Casinos in August

Its always fascinating to know how much casinos make in a month - especially Vegas ones. And in August, Nevada made a 9.3% increase in win over the 2004 equivalent, with a total gaming win of $989 million - The Vegas strip took $486.6 million an increase of over 13%.

However, it wasn't all games that contributed to the increase - there was a noticeable slump in table games, but over $13 billion was put in slot machines to make up for it
