Move over World Series, the World Strip Poker Tournament has just unveiled its newest champion - literally.

A freelance journalist from London had to bare all and play some good Texas Hold'em in order to beat 200 likeminded players from 12 countries. By removing the final garment, he secured not only the £10,000 prize, but also a further £10,000 for charity.

The rules ensured that each player would have 5 garments to remove and then were provided with a towel to provide some iota of modesty - but only once they were naked.

The tournament was sponsored by Paddy Power, making good on an April's Fools Joke
