Agents Check In To Charity Poker Tournaments

In another case of 'haven't they got anything better to do', Ohio state liquor control sent agents to infiltrate a charity poker tournament – who were raising money for a local cancer patient.

The agents claim that the tournament organisers didn't have the correct permits – the law contends that all monies earnt must be given to charity – however, in this case, the winners were being given some cash prizes.

The cancer victim's brother claims the agents just wanted to enforce the laws instead of keeping them from being broken.

"As I understand, they knew about all this beforehand, all they had to do was call somebody and say do you have all your I's and T's set up?" Mike Bode, cancer victim's brother.

Don't these govenment agencies have any real criminals to catch?
