Asian Market Makes for the Casinos
With over 100 buses a day from Boston and New York, doubling on public holidays, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun, Asians are big business. The buses are just $10 round-trip and usually include food and gaming vouchers.

Foxwoods claim a third of their 40,000 daily customer base are Asians whilst Mohegan Sun says about a fifth of their players are - up 12% already this year.

The business for Asian players is so big, both casinos have hired International Marketing Directors aimed at tapping into the market.

Its not just 'gambling' for them - its 'entertainment' and the casinos also make sure they fully cater to their player-base when they're not at the tables - having Asian eateries and even Asian entertainment from Hong Kong.
The number of Asians in the United States increased by 17 percent between 2000 and 2004, the fastest growth of any ethnic group during that period, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. And few industries have catered to the Asian boom with as much cultural competency as the $75 billion U.S. gaming industry
