The first ever casino implosion in Atlantic City took place on October 18, and what an event it was.
I left my home state of New Jersey 20 years ago, and one of the things I miss is the Atlantic Ocean, and the Jersey shore towns.
It seems impossible that what was a 6-year-old casino when I left the State has now been reduced to rubble, by implosion, a la Las Vegas, which is my current place of residence.

So time marches on and Atlantic City, no longer the only place in the eastern United States with legalized gambling, starts to rebuild itself to better compete with the growing number of Native American casinos throughout the country.
