Casino licenses are very hard to get and are a coveted prize when obtained; so it behooves the casino operator to play by the rules and stay within the law.
Here in Las Vegas the Casino Control Commission keeps casino owners on a short leash and apparently so does the casino cops in New Jersey.
The Atlantic City Casino had its license renewal request denied due to accounting irregularities, and has had a sizable fine levied on it.
I'm sure the casino executives will straighten things out and have the license renewed.
Here's a hint, keep an eye on the tropicana's promotions announcements. Whenever a casino suffers adverse publicity you can bet that it will offer some special deals and incentives to entice gamblers.
