The European soccer season has barely begun, but Bangkok City Police are already on the lookout for known betting syndicates.

93 of over 1000 bookies arrested in last year's Euro 2004 are already blacklisted as 100's of millions of thai baht was bet on the tournament.

However, cynics are already saying that whilst the police keep an eye out at the beginning of the season, as soon as the 'bribes' are paid, they start to back off
