BC Poker Championship Coming Up in November

The BC Poker Championship is coming up next month, November 12th to 22nd. The events involved will be held at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond BC.
If your interest in poker (poker rakeback) and it goes beyond a Friday night game with the boys where you don't even get a rakeback, events like the BC Championship are fascinating to watch. You learn a lot about how the masters play the game. And the prize pool is around $2.5 million (which makes Friday night with the boys seem a little insignificant).
The winner last year, Canadian Daniel Negreanu, outlasted 689 other players to win the first place prize of $371,910.
Richmond, in the metro-Vancouver area offers plenty to do when the dealing stops. And even in November the weather in the Pacific Northwest is still fairly pleasant. You can go to watch, or it's not too late to register.
And if you end up stuck in your room with nothing to do, you can always play online - maybe something like Rakemonkey.
