Employees for the Hong Kong Jockey Club are so busy, they don't even have a chance to take a leak – and are asking their bosses to employ more people to give them that break.
Some operators have to wait up to 3 hours to visit the little boys or girls room in their 8 hour work day – which includes 2 small breaks of 15 and 30 mins. All they want is the chance to go whenever they can and to get a further 10 mins break. And its all because the betting service is so successful
"Our workload has become a lot heavier since soccer betting was introduced. Items which customers can place their bets on have increased from nine in 2003 to 22 now," said union spokesperson Gary Kwan Shing-kit.

Hong Kong – Unionists working for the Hong Kong Jockey Club are calling on the territory’s only legalised gambling organisation to employ more staff so hard-pressed workers can go to the toilet, a media report said on Monday. Club staff, who presented a petition and four spittoons wrapped in aluminium foil, said telephone-betting operators are so busy that they have to wait up to three hours to go to the toilet, the south China Morning Post reported.
