You would have thought that spending money advertising gambling in Las Vegas would make as much sense as advertising snow in Siberia. Well, internet gambling big boys Bodog.com don't think so. They've recently, spent over half a million dollars on a new campaign in Las Vegas.
The adverts will be shown on planes taking gamblers to home of US Gambling. As well as in-flight announcements delivered to passengers, the trays (when not stored in a locked upright position) will be painted to look like a blackjack tables.
Calvin Ayre, chief executive at Bodog Entertainment, believes that this campaign is a smart move. Whilst touring gamblers will be playing in live casinos, when they get back home they'll turn to Bodog.com - or so Ayre hopes.
