Casino Connery coward cameo conjecture

It's been whispered that Sean Connery, the best Bond, is going to appear in the latest Bond Blockbuster Casino Royale and will play a coward.
Robert Sanchez of the Movie Insider has suggested that Connery is set to appear in Casino Royal in a brief cameo. The brief appearance will supposedly see Connery hiding under a table during a fight scene involving the new Bond daniel craig
.
Here's a little background for those of you unfamiliar with Casino Royale, the first book in the Bond series. LeChiffre, played by Mads Mikkelsen, is an all round bad guy; working for the Soviets of course (the story was written during the cold war) but very much looking after himself. After losing most of Communist money entrusted to him by Soviets, he turns to gambling to get it all back. His game? Baccarat. This is where Bond comes in. 007 is a skilled baccarat player himself and is sent into the casino to beat and bankrupt LeChiffre, leaving him penniless and at the mercy of SMERSH, the more-nasty-than-the-KGB Soviet enforcers.
