Casinos Feeling Economic Squeeze

It was bad enough when the price of gas started going up, along with all other forms of energy. But now with the housing slump, job losses and food price increases, it's understandable that the casinos aren't picking up as much on the rake.
We've been hearing about it here in Las Vegas for quite a while, and that's despite the hotels booked rate not really declining that much.
It's the casinos that are taking the bigger hit because people, gamblers included, have less discretionary income.
Here's the story about the loss of casino revenue.
What this means to the gambler is possibly better deals in terms of travel, room rates, discounted shows and meals and a bit more generosity at the tables and slots. So be on the lookout for specials when planning your next gambling experience.
