Cheltenham - Day 3

12 year old Moscow Flyer has retired after finishing fifth in the Queen Mother Champion Chase. The surprise winner was the Irish outsider Newmill (pictured) and our selection Foto Island came in second. However, a nice 11/1 win with Sky's The Limit in the coral Cup hasn't hurt matters. So currently we are 8.13 units better off.

First race of the day is the 2.00pm Jewson Novices Handicap Chase which will see Turpin Green first passed the post. The big three in the Ryanair Chase at 2.35pm are Impek, Fondmort and Our Vic. I don't quite know what I was thinking last Saturday when I tipped Crystal Dainay for an each way bet in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at 3.15pm. A safer place to put your money is on is Mighty Man although Tony McCoy on Baracouda is an obvious risk. I can't select any with any confidence in the later races.
