Chief Executive Richard Segal leaves PartyGaming

The world's biggest online casino, PartyGaming.com, has just lost their Chief Executive. Richard Segal leaves under a cloud of success with PartyGaming recently valued at over £5.2Billion and currently seeing 'record-breaking profits'.

PartyGaming is located in Gibraltar and Segal was the only executive not to have relocated. It appears that he's more family-man than gambling-man and resigned rather than upheave his family. Segal was commuting each week but the board of directors believed that their Chief Executive should be located in Gibraltar full-time.

While at PartyGaming, Segal was at the forefront of the company's flotation on the London market last year, overseeing the entry into the FTSE 100 index of leading shares. He was also behind PartyGaming's expansion into blackjack. The company are said to be shocked at his departure.
