In gambling statistics of an alternative nature, China, who has gone on a gambling arrest spree in the last 12 months has announced that they have seized over 700,000 gambling suspects since january 2005 and 'cracked' 163,000 gambling cases - according to People's Daily OnlineThe stats are pretty impressive:
$281 million in gambling money has been seized
77,000 PCs that had been used for gambling
1479 suspects have been put in prison
3874 have been prosecuted

Its good to see there's nothing more important going on right now in China to be able to waste so much time, energy and money rounding up gamblers!
