Clooney Looks to Build a Vegas Casino

BlogPicture

Not content with starring in not one, but two casino-based movies, Ocean's Eleven actor, George Clooney is looking to take a gamble on a $3 billion casino just off the Las Vegas strip.

Clooney and his rich buddies (including Cindy Crawfords husband, Randy Gerber) want to create a Monte Carlo-style black tie casino – where guests would have to wear jackets and ties, rather than flip-flops and tanktops – which the usual Vegas climate recommends

His Ocean's 11 co-star, brad pitt, is also looking to get in on the lure of the Vegas glitter for his own hotel/casino- having just had a meeting with Donald Trump as a potential investor

Why does this trend remind me of when actors would get involved in the restaurant scene a few years back (Planet Hollywood, anyone?)

Hopefully it does better than Brad Pitt’s hotel did in Oceans 12.
