Eli Elezra has dumped his Albatross, joining his "Big Game" buddies in the elite circle of poker champions, WSOP Bracelet Holders. Elezra won his first bracelet this weekend in Stud Hi Lo by besting 2-time WSOP bracelet winner Dutch Boyd and former Main Event Champion Scotty Nguyen at a tough final table.
The $3,000 buy-in Stud event brought a ton of top names to the field, and the final table was a Who's Who of poker greats, with Nguyen, Elezra and Boyd joined by legendary poker writer David Sklansky and noted tournament player Thor Hansen. Elezra not only pocketed nearly $200,000 in prize money to go with his new jewelry, but he also won a $25,000 prop bet against friend and fellow "Big Game" player Barry Greenstein on whether or not he would win a bracelet at this year's World Series of Poker.
