England's Seaside Slot Arcades Declining

As one ages he or she sees change taking place and either laments or cheers it.
I've always been a fan of the Atlantic Ocean, and the small, amusement oriented communities that that make up most of the shoreline along the New Jersey coast.
For various reasons I have moved away from that scene and am now in Las Vegas which is in the middle of the Mojave Desert.
Even though life in those shore communities, and the amusement areas that are the blood of life for them, have changed, and not necessarily for the better, I still miss that aspect of New Jersey.
It seems that this is the case on the other side of the Atlantic as well where in England the popularity of seaside arcades has taken a nosedive.
The once fabulously popular seaside slot machine arcades seem headed for extinction as the popularity of more diverse inland casinos continues.
