Its a long way from being the Mayor of New York City. Rudy Guiliani is now consulting for Eighth Wonder casinos who are one of 4 bidding for Singapore's second casino license.
Guiliani, under his company Giuliani Security & Safety LLC, will be consulting and advising on security issues. This is Singapores second license after overturning its ban on casino gambling. The first casino license was handed to Las Vegas Sands Corp last May. This new license will be awarded in December.
The other three parties competing for the Sentosa site are a team including Malaysian-controlled Genting International PLC, which has Universal Studios as a partner; a joint venture between Kerzner International Ltd., which is based in the Bahamas, and Singapore's CapitaLand Ltd.; and a team of U.S.-based Harrah's Entertainment Inc. and Keppel Land Ltd. of Singapore.
