Ex-SportingBet Exec Can Go Back to London

New York has decided not to play ball with Louisiana and has allowed former SportingBet PLC chairman, Peter Dicks, to go home.

Dicks was arrested after landing in JFK earlier this month since he was wanted by Louisiana. However, NY governor, George Pataki claimed there was no extradition law that could send him to another State. New York also does not currently outlaw offshore internet gambling.

As Dicks returns home, his lawyer will now try to get Louisiana to drop their charges
