Footballer Doesn't Have to Wear Online Casino Shirt

Sevilla soccer player, Fredi Kanoute, has been told he doesn't have to wear the team's sponsorship on his shirt - for now.

Sevilla is sponsored by online casino, 888.com - but Kanoute is a Muslim and gambling is against his religion. According to the Koran, gambling is an act of the devil and Kanoute believes he should only have to wear a 'pure' shirt.

Its been agreed that Kanoute will not have to wear the 888 sponsorship. In the meantime, 888.com are probably loving all this publicity
