Free Horse Race Betting Advice

Now that nice sunny weather is upon us it's a great time to pay a visit to a horse race track.

One of the best things about horse racing is the excitement generated by the crowd as the pack passes by the clubhouse in the final stretch. One can't help but join in the fray even if you only have 2 bucks on some long shot nag's nose.

With races spread out over a period of time you can relax, do your handicapping, grab a bite to eat or something to drink, and place your bet.

And speaking of bets, it isn't necessary to drop 5 large on a race to have fun. In fact, some of my better times at the track were those when I limited myself to very small bets, and some of my worst were when I started peeling off the C notes.

Give it a try and go with the expectation of having day out to have some excitement and relaxation. You might also want to bring your camera too because racetracks are very colorful and the racing horses make challenging subjects.

Here's the story about veteran handicapper Mike Dempsey, and here's where you can find Mike Dempsey's horse race picks.

Have fun and good luck!
