Gambler in $1.5 Million Fraud

Female high stakes gambler, Yi Wang, alleged defrauded a Chinese businessman for $AUS1.5 million and then gambled the money in a 61-day spree at Crown Casino - turning over $12 million in the process with an average bet of $13,000
Apparantly, Wang persuaded Zhan Qing Zhang to put $1.5 million into her account as a deposit for some property - they had met when Zhang visited Australia to look for some real estate
Wang has pleaded guilty on 13 charges after Zhang, who spoke no english, realised he was being conned after getting an interpreter to discover the scam
