Gambler Takes Casino for £3 Million

But for the UK's Stanley Leisure Group, its not all that easy to make money running casinos.

A gambler has hit the casino group for �3 million sterling at a London Casino in the last 6 weeks and that win was large enough to cause a dent in their year end figures.

The group has also been hit by a string of big wins by football and horse-racing favourites.

In an industry that relies on its gamblers bad luck, Stanley runs its own high risk by owning high-roller friendly upmarket London casinos and a sportsbook business that is up against the unpredictability of sports results

But it still managed to bring in profits of �41 million - so I won't be crying for them yet.
