Seven gamblers cheated professional accountants in a card scam known as 'show hands' - or locally known as "Tin Sin Kuk" (Heavenly Swindle)
The gamblers allegedly approached an accountant to set up a meeting for a business proposal and would lead them into a card game - whereby the accountant would be lured into the game after winning a few hands and then lose to a series of higher hands, such as 'three jacks".
The accountants lost between HK$180,000 and HK$620,000 on at least 5 occasions and forced to pay the debt
