With 50 casinos on the way by 2012, East Asia look set for a gambling boom - tripling current revenues to a predicted $44bn, according to the latest reports.

With governments removing current bans on casinos, Singapore, Japan, Thailand all look set to start building. Whilst India, Macau, South Korea and the Phillipines should add more.

70% will be 5 star resorts and the battle for attracting high rollers should start anytime soon
