Ontario gamblers wagered nearly CAN$6 billion in 2004/5 – an increase of CAN$125 million year-on-year. Net income after costs came to CAN$1.7 billion.
Most of the gambling revenue in Ontario comes from lottery sales and bingo – whilst casino gambling brings in $1.5 billion – followed by charity gambling and racetracks
