Golden Palace out $5000 for holy tree

Goldenpalace.com have struck again with their relentless advertising campaigns. This time publicity comes in the shape of a religious tree. The tree, apparently bearing an image of the Virgin Mary, was bought by the internet casino for $5000.

The holy artreefact is located in South Dallas, has a shrine around its base and receives 1000s of daily visitors. Not to mention the tens of thousands of people who logged on to ebay (that's right) to pay homage to its listing page. Goldenpalace.com CEO, Richard Rowe commented:

We hope that our acquisition of the tree will increase its exposure and help to share it with the world.

And if your internet casino gets a little increased exposure you won't be complaining, eh Rich? The iconic tree will join the other religious and cultural relics acquired by Goldenplace.com including: a Virgin Mary grilled cheese sandwich, a pregnancy test once owned by Britney Spears and a second-hand VW Golf formerly owned by Pope Benedict XVI.
