You'd do well to give the National a miss, it's so hard to predict a winner with confidence. And you'd do well to avoid the favourite, which currently is (uh-oh!) Clan Royal. Since Earth Summit won in 1998 the only other favourite which has gone on to win was Hedgehunter last year.
If each-way betting is more to your liking, why not ignore the fact that the last Grand National winner to have a French trainer was Cortolvin back in 1867 and have a go with Innox.
