How to Bet on March Madness
Its difficult to explain to a non-American exactly what is the phenomenon of March Madness. It's so big, the game console manufacturers all have their own March Madness titles

Basically, March Madness is the college basketball championship that takes over the US in March - primetime TV broadcasts the NCAA college sports spectacle as fans follow their home state, college and future NBA stars. Its also one of the biggest betting events in the US - and thats often a reason why the US is so against betting (online especially) since its Amateur sports and college kids that is being wagered on

MSNBC, courtesy of youwager.com have kindly put together a top 10 list of betting tips that could be used for any sports to be honest, but in particular March Madness

1. Bet the line, not the team
2. Bet with a reputable sportsbook
3. Bet early
4. Take advantage of the different bets.
5. Keep a level head.
6. Bet with more than one sportsbook.
7. For March Madness, bet the underdog in the first round, the favorite in the second.
8. Timing is crucial (for over/under bets on total points)
9. Check past performance
10. Don't expect to win every bet
