How to Play: Seven Card Stud

Here's the second in the series of alternative poker games to play online - if you care to take a diversion from texas hold'em.

Seven Card Stud is one of the most popular variations and is a great game of stud poker

Its pretty simple - the player receives a total of 7 cards and the player with the best hand wins.

There's five betting rounds in total. The player receives 2 hole cards (face down) and one door up (face up) - the player with the lowest cards begins the betting - at half the lowest bet limit

3 further cards are then dealt (4th, 5th and 6th street), each with a betting round, and then the final river cards.

The player with the best 5 card hand, wins
