It must be tough being James Packer. The son of legendary gambler, Kerry Packer, who's betting exploits have been retold and exaggerated the world over has found that his name doesn't always mean getting your own way - even at a casino that had chips made especially for Dad.

Packer, executive chairman of PBL, who owns Crown Casino in Melbourne and his friend visited Star City Casino in Sydney and were invited into the high roller 'Endeavour Room'. Packer's friend wasn't too successful at the tables and asked for a $20,000 line of credit. The casino followed their strict rules of giving credit and denied it.

Packer was not impressed and promptly walked out of the casino with his friend
