Japan considers online gambling

While the Chinese are busy with their project to stamp out gambling in their country, their Japanese neighbours are relaxing their gaming laws still further. I mentioned in a previous post that Japan was contemplating using casinos to boost their economy, now they're considering permitting online casinos as well.
Japanese relaxation of gambling laws
may see a liberalising of attitudes towards gaming across the Far East. However, China remains the yang to Japan's ying by reacting to gambling and gamblers with extreme prejudice. Perhaps the anti-gambling movement in the West should wave Chinese flags on their demonstrations.
