This almost sounds like a joke, but the casino laws in kansas, practically mandate a less than happy time for gamblers.

With rare exception, most casinos want to emulate the ones found in Las Vegas, because it's a proven, winning formula all over the world.

But it seems that the casino laws in Kansas don't actually allow many of the things that make a Las Vegas casino a Las Vegas casino.

For example, the time honored free drinks for active gamblers, a long time staple at most Las Vegas Strip and off-Strip casinos, isn't allowed under Kansas law.
