The proliferation of casinos across the United States coupled with the growing popularity of Poker has created a need for professional Poker dealers.
Many Poker fans just can't get enough of their favorite pastime and some have been able to combine their love of the game with earning a living by working in a casino as a Poker dealer.
One thing you should know is that if you want to be a Poker dealer in Las Vegas don't expect to start at one of the Strip casinos. Those properties are the cream of the crop in Las Vegas and you're not getting into one of those places until you are well seasoned.
Here's a posting I wrote earlier this year about dealing Poker in Las Vegas casinos.
But bear in mind that there's a bunch of new casinos due to open over the next few years. That will create openings for existing dealers in small casinos which in turn opens up their vacated jobs for new dealers.
Like anything in life changing careers has its risks but if you're a gambler and you want a new career then becoming a Poker dealer may be something you're willing to gamble on.
Have fun and good luck!
