Majestic Star casinos axe 350 jobs

Ever since Majestic Star bought the former Trump Casino-Hotel last year, the company have been reducing staff. Staff numbers have been dropped from 2000 to around 1,400. The casino has eliminated 33 table games, dropping from 92 to 59. Some of the laid off staff may be snapped up by the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond which has about 90 to 100 open positions. Although they have more dealer positions open than they do supervisory ones.
