The revenue predictions for the mobile gambling market are coming in as fast as they can keep up with new handsets and faster networks. This time, the latest report by Informa Telecoms & Media has predicted a huge increase in the market from the current levels of $1.2 bn to a high of $7.6 bn

The report also predicts over 200 million consumers using their mobile device for mobile gambling

However - there is a caveat to all these large numbers - and thats down to the operators of both the mobile networks and the gambling services to find their way through the maze of regulation, legislation and technical issues that they could face on the way

The report goes on to say that Europe is likely to remain the biggest consumers, followed by Asia, whilst lotteries would be the most popular gaming product
