Job losses and other negative economic factors continue fueling the country's economy in a downward spiral.
With no immediate relief in sight cities and states all over America are exploring every possible option that might generate much needed revenue.
Some of the few states without casinos are actively considering reversing that status and many thoroughbred racetracks are installing or considering the installation of slot machines to augment their dwindling earnings.
In other words our governments are looking to gamblers to finance their operations.
The latest novel approach, being considered by the city of phoenix, Arizona, is the sale of State lottery tickets at their airport.
Maybe Nevada will finally smarten up and institute a State lottery.
