New Las Vegas To Be Built In Spain's Desert

Another desert, another Las Vegas, at least that's the plan for Spain's desert.

We have Macau's gambling area being called the Las Vegas of the East and when this project is complete I guess it will be called Las Vegas Europe.

Anyway there are ambitious plans on the drawing boards for Spain's desert region and I guess the thinking is that if a casino city succeeded once in a desert, why not again.

The will be many billions of Euros invested in this attempt to bring Las Vegas style casinos and other amenities to this parched landscape, which for now is called "Gran Escala".

Let's see how it turns out over the next decade.
