More than 5,000 retailers in North Carolina are anxiously waiting until 6am tomorrow morning when the first scratchcards will go on sale. Over 50 million tickets have been shipped out across the state ready for the big day. Some of the lottery revenue will go to local school systems to be used for school construction.
Retailers could be on to a winning thing with the scratchcards. Many have reported that customers have expressed a great interest in the cards. Not only will retailers earn a 7% commission on ticket sales the extra customers could lead to extra sales.
