Continuing our series here at the Gambling Weblog of sports odds analysis we take a look at some of the more interesting football/soccer matches in Europe, one of the most lucrative gambling industries. Included in this weekend’s line-up are three major derbies on Sunday; the Merseyside Derby, where the reds of Liverpool must travel across Stanley Park to play Everton, El Classico, in which Real Madrid travel to the Nou Camp to take on main rivals Barcelona, and Arsenal vs Chelsea, when the reds of north London will seek to close the gap on their rivals who make the eight mile journey to the Emirates.

Now that we have conclusively seen that Betfair’s odds seem to be better each week (although, for customer service, ease of use, range and offers/further markets I must say I’d rather use Bet365 myself), next week we’ll incorporate another site into the list. Had a tenner for Arsenal beating chelsea, based on a Betfair blog. Oh well…
Very unlucky. Easy mistake though, they were nice odds, and you can never rule Arsenal out. If I had had the guts I’d have made the same bet!
