Online Poker On Par With Child Pornography in Washington State

Washington State clearly couldn't wait anymore for the US to decide whether to ban online gambling or not – so they've gone ahead and done it themselves.

From June 7, if you're found playing poker online you'll be committing a Class C felony – thats a $10,000 fine or up to 5 years in prison.

To put this new law into perspective, a Class C felony covers child pornographers, drug dealers and identity thieves.

So for those Seattle gamblers, playing a hand of blackjack on the internet is really that bad.

Time to move state.
