NHL hockey team, the Pittsburgh Penguins have partnered with casino group, Isle of Capri Casinos Inc in order to develop a new $290 million arena - a deal which the Penguins claim is a necessity if they want to stay there

The Isle of Capri group will build the arena if they win a license next year to open a slots parlour

The partnership represents a change of course for the Penguins, who previously planned to pursue the slots license on their own. Instead, Isle of Capri will seek the license, and the Penguins would receive only a new arena in the deal and no gaming revenues
