Playtech Next Up for Floatation

One of the newer kids in the software arena, Playtech formed in 1999 but has since grown quickly with software for casinos, poker and bingo.
The floatation would value the company at £550 million with a £175 million listing on the smaller AIM market.
Playtech provides casinos for Kiwi Casino of New Zealand and Betfred in the UK, amongst others.
Life can't be bad for a listed company. Playtech's competitors, Cryptologic, saw its stock on the Toronto Stock Exchange rise 8% as it announced 40% increase in revenues in the 4th quarter and a 54% profit gain
