Poker players argue that Poker isn't actually gambling because there's such a strong element of skill involved.
That statement could, and has sparked debates that go on endlessly, but I think it's a fair statement since there's a lot of strategy in Poker, and you need certain skills to recognize when to bet and how much.
Well now Poker players can brag that a conference was hosted recently, at harvard law school no less, to determine the
educational value of Poker.
Now Poker players have firm footing upon which to base their argument that Poker is for thinking individuals, who can make tough decisions quickly, while under pressure, and not just place random bets and rely solely on luck.
Have fun and good luck!
