Poker Bloggers host Summer Tournament at Orleans

The No Limit Hold 'Em Tournament was taken down by Mrs. Spaceman in a remarkably short 5 hours of play, thanks in large part to the turbo format imposed on the live tournament by the Orleans poker room
staff. So as not to conflict with the regularly scheduled daily tournaments, the private tournament for 42 of the internet's finest poker scribes was bait-and-switched to 15 minute levels with tow levels removed, which led to approximately one hour of poker play for most players, followed by three hours of push-or-fold, bracketed by an excellent period of heads-up play featuring blogger beauties Mrs. Spaceman and Grubbette. As the organizer of the event, I was embarrassed that my friends and I paid nearly 20% juice for the privilege of being treated poorly and given a terrible structure. The dealers were fine, but the tournament director behaved as though our presence was an imposition and a burden, and we would have much preferred to have the tournament somewhere else than to hold it somewhere where we weren't wanted.
More updates from the most recent blogger invasion coming soon, including two bloggers cashing in the World Series of Poker!
