Poker Now Hits Cellphones

Swedish Online Poker Operator, pokerroom.com have announced the launch of their new mobile product for cellphones

They currently offer Texas Hold'em, Seven Card Stud and Omaha Hi-lo varieties - and have a minimum of $1 and a max of $100 - but they do warn players that you need a good connection, else you can lose your money if you disconnect.

The poker is only available on the the Nokia 6660 and the Sony Ericsson 700i.

Mobile gambling has been seen as the 'next big thing' for about 3 years now. Whilst mobile casinos has yet to really take off - it may be poker that finally breaks-through - as long as the disconnection issue is taken care of
