
Pokertek, the maker of the PokerPro automated poker table, announced that Princess Cruises has plans to expand their intsallation of PokerPro tables by the end of 2007. The cruise line has recently completed trials of three tables and plans to expand to 22 tables fleet-wide.
"We continue to be impressed with how quickly the Princess guests learn to play PokerPro and how reliable the product has proven itself," said Rodney Dofort, Vice President of Casino Operations
Othe PokerPro installations include several land-based casinos, with a dedicated PokerPro room at Hollywood Park in LA. The Crown Casino in Melbourne Australia currently has the largest installation of PokerPro tables, with ten. The automated PokerPro tables are available in a ten-seat and a heads-up version, and can play Texas Hold 'Em and Omaha on a computerized interface with live opponents.
