I'm discovering that the gambling scene is much the same in Europe as it is in the United States.

There are both strong proponents and opponents of gambling in the Czech Republic and as the major city of Prague continues growing so does the demand for more casinos.

But, as with slot machines in Maryland, in the United States, there is a strong protest against further gambling opportunities.
