It seems some of the biggest reality shows in the UK have been caught up in a scam involving some dubious telecoms insiders, vast amounts of money and Betfair - although to be fair of one of these parties involved, Betfair was the one to notice it happening as they saw the money go through their site just before the results were announced
Online bookie Betfair became suspicious when large amounts of money were placed immediately before results were announced on the X Factor.
According to reports, fraudsters were tipped off by a telecoms worker who had access to the results of viewers' polls before they were announced on air.

So much for that reality-based tv shows...they are so rampant that i never trust any of these shows anymore. Reality check for tv viewers.
